Day 48: Cairns
I love listening to radio in Australia, its like being transported back to the 80's. Every other song that comes on reminds me of when I was at school in Charters Towers. I know all the words.Today we met Fritz. Oly had searched the internet for a VW mechanic in Cairns and came across Fritz's MySpace site. We sent him a message asking if he knew a mechanic in Cairns and he recommended Toby who did a fantastic job (thanks!)
Cairns is such a small town, we were crossing a road and Oly noticed a kombi drive by with the unmistakable spare wheel cover Fritz has. We then jumped in front of him when he drove past again. We didn't get a photo but hopefully we will be meeting up with them on the weekend coming and we can get one then.

must say that i much appriciated the brouceres you sent me and it makes for a interresting read.
heres all the wonderful happenings in my life that i will keep you up to date with
(1) after saving up for yonks i bought a motorbike,
(2) Gus hits eight months old and at 70centimeters and 65 kilos he one bloody big puppy
(3) I turned fifteen
(4) i survived a massive bush fire that engulfed our valley and the same day soxy our wonderful geriatric old cat died at 21 Years of age.
