Nandoodles

Its soooooo cold.

Actually today wasn't too bad but it poured down this evening with big globules of water like mini water balloons, luckily for us we were safely tucked in and tucking in at Nando's. Yum yum with a capital UM, who would have thought that Nando's could get any better? It was cheaper, the portions were bigger, chicken was even more succulent, chips light and fluffy yet surprisingly crispy, yum! It was either Nando's or the drive through McCafe... a little bit of rain never hurt anyone!

There is a huge demand for designer dogs here, everything is crossed with a poodle. The dog starts as an Oodle and ends up as a Spoodle, Cavoodle, Labradoodle, Moodle, Schnoodle, Aussiedoodle, the list is endless. They don't shed as much, if at all, making them low allergy, they have a great temperament, their fur is so soft and they look so cute! Oly and I visit the pet shop in Whitford City and the puppies and kittens are sold so quickly they are never the same ones when we go in. Wish we could have a dog to take with us on our trip, that would be fantastic but impractical, maybe next time when we do it all again when we retire!

Aussie slang for the day:

Hi Olly and Em, Glad Henry got a good mark at Volk school. September chill is giving us all the pip. Have we told you lately that this is most unusual (me and all West ozzies,I guess) It doesn't help, does it.Dick has a throat and chest virus and is bed bound. I hope spring greets you as you head for the South West. Otherwise take warm gear. If you need warm bedding I have lots you can borrow, because when the weather heats up ( yes it will) you won't want to stow it in Henry.Phone me please. Alpha

I had an Aussie staying for a few days - Stuart, the other member of Continuum. His family have been farming for generations about 80k from Perth he`s the petrolhead who`s father was a commercial pilot and now runs the farm while Stuart`s away promoting organic merino wool. He thinks your intending to go the wrong way round as the rainy season starts up north and it also gets very hot and sticky ! he thinks you would be better going south and the other way round ! check it out. pa x
